Jurnal Hilirisasi IPTEKS (JHI) is fully committed to the principles of open access and the unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge. The journal provides immediate and free access to all published articles, ensuring that research outputs are available to the global scholarly community without subscription or access barriers.

By adopting an open-access model, JHI aims to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and citation of published works, promoting the advancement of science, technology, and innovation for the benefit of society.

Licensing and Copyright

All articles published in JHI are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Under this license:

  • Authors retain full copyright of their work.

  • Others may copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as proper attribution is given to the original authors and the source.

  • If changes are made or derivatives are created, they must be distributed under the same license as the original work.

Access and Use

All content published in JHI is available online immediately upon publication and can be freely accessed, read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, or linked by anyone. Readers are not required to register or pay to access journal content.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support the costs of editorial management, peer review, and digital archiving, the journal applies a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 for accepted manuscripts.

  • There are no fees for submission or peer review.

  • Authors will only be charged after their article is formally accepted for publication.

  • A withdrawal fee of IDR 350,000 applies if a manuscript is withdrawn during or after the review process.
    These fees are transparent and applied solely to sustain the open-access publication process.

Archiving and Digital Preservation

JHI ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content through PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS systems. These trusted digital archiving services safeguard all published materials against data loss and ensure permanent public access.

Commitment to Open Science

JHI strongly supports the open science movement and encourages authors to share data, preprints, and supplementary materials that promote transparency and reproducibility. The journal permits authors to deposit all versions of their manuscripts—including preprints, postprints, and published versions—in institutional or subject repositories without restriction.
