Access and Use
All content published in JHI is available online immediately upon publication and can be freely accessed, read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, or linked by anyone. Readers are not required to register or pay to access journal content.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support the costs of editorial management, peer review, and digital archiving, the journal applies a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 for accepted manuscripts.

There are no fees for submission or peer review.

Authors will only be charged after their article is formally accepted for publication.

A withdrawal fee of IDR 350,000 applies if a manuscript is withdrawn during or after the review process.
These fees are transparent and applied solely to sustain the open-access publication process.
Archiving and Digital Preservation
JHI ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content through PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS systems. These trusted digital archiving services safeguard all published materials against data loss and ensure permanent public access.
Commitment to Open Science
JHI strongly supports the open science movement and encourages authors to share data, preprints, and supplementary materials that promote transparency and reproducibility. The journal permits authors to deposit all versions of their manuscripts—including preprints, postprints, and published versions—in institutional or subject repositories without restriction.
