Article Processing Charges

To support the cost of editorial processes, peer review management, typesetting, digital archiving, and long-term accessibility, Jurnal Hilirisasi IPTEKS (JHI) applies a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

1. Submission Charges

  • There are no submission fees when authors submit their manuscripts for consideration.

  • Charges are only applied after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been accepted for publication.

2. Publication Charges

  • A publication fee of IDR 500,000 will be charged per accepted article.

  • Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author once the manuscript is formally accepted.

  • Payment of the APC is required before the article proceeds to copyediting and publication.

3. Manuscript Withdrawal Fee

  • Withdrawal of a manuscript on or after the peer-review process will incur a withdrawal fee of IDR 350,000.

  • This fee compensates for resources and reviewer efforts already invested in the editorial process.

4. Waivers and Discounts

  • At present, JHI does not offer APC waivers or discounts.

  • Authors are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure funding availability before submitting their manuscript.

5. Transparency

  • APCs are the only charges associated with publishing in JHI.

  • The editorial decision is made independently of the payment process and is based solely on scholarly merit, originality, and contribution to the field.
